Science Olympiad was one of my most impactful high school experiences. I joined the Science Olympiad at Cornell club to give back to the organization and work to inspire young competitors to pursue STEM careers just as I was inspired. Throughout my involvement I have:

Optimizing the new Cornell scoring software, Ezra, that is used at tournaments across the country
Organized and ran engineering-oriented events at Cornell’s Division C Science Olympiad Invitational
Volunteered at numerous tournaments in upstate New York to help implement Ezra

Cornell University Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Project Team

CUAUV designs, builds, programs and tests a completely new autonomous submarine every year to compete in AUVSI’s international RoboSub competition. As a software subteam member, I recieve invaluable engineering experience through my work:

Writing high-level Python code for the submarine to complete various tasks in an underwater arena
Refining the team’s software stack through semesterly projects related to missions, vision, control, and navigation
